Over the years we have had many requests from dealers and customers for a high efficiency grated furnace with features specifically designed for high temperature coal burning. HeatMaster SS responded by developing the C series model line.

This coal model line started with the MF series style tried and true shaker grate, stainless ashpan, 409 stainless firebox and water jacket, Ranco temp control, easy to see water level float... and much more.

The firebox was then ovaled to allow easier coal loading and to keep the heat away from the firebox door. An additional bypass was added to the exhaust to improve efficiency. Shorter door jambs reduce condensation.
